About Hapeville, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Fulton County, Georgia, Hapeville is a city located directly next to Atlanta. As of 2010, the community had roughly 6,400 residents. Hapeville is named after Dr. Samuel Hape, one of the first landowners in the city who also served as the first mayor. This community is served by Fulton County Schools, and older students will attend East Point’s Tri-Cities High School. The U.S. headquarters of Korean Air Cargo is found in Hapeville, as is the Dwarf House, the first restaurant in the Chick-fil-A franchise. Additionally, Hapeville receives notoriety as being the former home of actor and comedian Jeff Foxworthy.

Hapeville hosts a variety of unique festivals and events throughout the year. The Hapeville Happy Days Festival occurs each September and features an artist market, live music, games, and vendors. In the spring, the Hapeville Spring Festival offers a fun-filled day including a 5K, parade, softball games, festival, and tennis tournament.

In addition to area events, there are several other interesting things to see and do in Hapeville. The Hapeville Depot Museum is a great destination for train enthusiasts, and the Tom E. Morris Sports Complex is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities. Other recreational opportunities are available at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park and West Bolling Park.

Hapeville residents will enjoy milder winters than other portions of the U.S. While average temperatures in January may fall into the lower 40s, some periods of freezing temperatures, rain, and ice may also occur. Residents will rely on their home heating systems to stay comfortable when these harsh weather conditions arise.

A mild and rainy spring will typically lead to a hot and humid summer in Hapeville. With temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit dozens of days throughout the season, residents are advised to have their air conditioners serviced in the spring so that they are ready to go when the oppressive heat sets in. An efficient air conditioning system can be essential in preventing heat-related illnesses and injuries.
