Conyers, Georgia is home to approximately 14,000 residents, and it is the only city located in Rockdale County. This city is situated 24 miles east of Atlanta, and it now incorporates the town of Milstead within its limits. In 1996, Conyers hosted several mountain biking and equestrian events for the Olympic Games, even building the Georgia International Horse Park to accommodate the exhibitions. Children in Conyers attend school through the Rockdale County School District, which consists of 11 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 high schools.
