As part of a humid subtropical climate zone, Brookhaven will experience varied weather conditions throughout the year. Residents often appreciate the cool winters that are milder than other areas of the U.S., but the community is not safe from freezing weather. When cold snaps arrive, residents will need to use their home heating system in order to keep their pipes from freezing and to ensure that interior temperatures stay comfortable.

While the spring and autumn months are rainy with comfortable temperatures, the summer can be extremely hot and humid. Several weeks each summer will experience temperatures reaching the 90s, although high humidity levels will leave it feeling even hotter. A dependable air conditioner can help keep residents and visitors comfortable while improving indoor air quality.
